Epistemic Skepticism
Knowledge claims about the external world cannot be justified.
What it claims
Epistemic skepticism argues that most of what we take ourselves to know is not really knowledge. What it denies is the assumption that ordinary grounds clear the threshold of knowledge. It does not go so far as to deny that those grounds are useful in practice.
