Aesthetic Objectivism
Aesthetic judgments can be right or wrong, and some judges are better than others.
What it claims
Aesthetic objectivism holds that judgments about beauty or artistic value are not mere reports of personal taste but judgments that can be right or wrong. Hume did not locate the standard of taste in properties within the individual object. The standard is the joint verdict of true judges, those possessing delicate sensibility, experience, practice in comparison, freedom from prejudice, and good sense.
