Panentheism
The world is in God, but God is greater than the world.
What it claims
Panentheism holds that everything is in God, yet God is not reducible to the sum of everything. It stands between pantheism, which identifies God with the world, and classical theism, which places God as a transcendent being outside the world. It denies two things: a God complete without any relation to the world, and the reduction that equates God with the whole of nature.
